s about 10 minutes to do it yourself. you should be able to make a new string in 15 or 20 even if you have not done it much. Lee

Well, heck Henry, you knew I'd be here sooner or later, just can't resist, lol. I get brand new strings for $9.00 from Danny Miller, and put them on while grill is going and beer is disappearing!! just match the brace heights and go back to hitting quarters at 30 yds, kinda boring actually.

Well I know two years ago when I wanted to get my old horton freshened up for my dad I went to the shop and wanted a new string and cables, the old cables had a plastic coating on them that was starting to crack from old age I assume. Walked out of their with new string, cables and cam wheels all installed for sixty five bucks. The old ones still worked good just wanted to make sure dad was good to go.

I knew you couldn`t... but having to have mine reserved gives me an excuse to hang out at the proshop for awhile,, checking out all the new stuff and I also had some arrows refletched while I was there.. so it is not always a bad thing having to go to a proshop,, and I have even been given ideals on other places I can hunt at the proshop.. so its not all bad..
