Match them to the spine of your arrows. you might try shooting feild tip and go with the weight that groups the best.Lee

If yer using a fixed blade then 1 1/4" and down, mechanial up to 1 1/2". Make sure the mech. don't open in flite. Weight 75-125gr. Heavier fer bigger and tougher game.[:-][]

I got lucky, tried Slick Trick 100 gr. 1 1/8" and quit looking for better accuracy or performance. I'm using 431 gr. LII's, the 100gr tips give me a FOC of 20% and fly great. Blood trails look like they were poured from a bucket.

I have a horton supermax 175 which is pretty similar to your legend and you should never shoot anything with a total arrow weight less that 400 grains! You should also never shoot a broadhead with a total wight more than 25% of you total arrow weight. Alot of guys put heavy heads on light arrows but it can will throw off your FOC balance. Alot of guys don't know about FOC and do not realize how it can and does affect you bows accuracy. But all this gets back to your wieght question, I have always used 100 grain heads, thats what shoots the best on a horton arrow that is around 432 or 458 depending if you are shooting carbons or alluminums. If you want to go with a 125 then you need to get a heavyier arrow or you will throw off your FOC. 100 is all you need and will do you fine! Here is a print from easton about FOC hope it helps!

Edit: Just noticed I cut the bottom off, sorry, should be usable now.

In the fwiw dept. I've done some testing on my 431 gr. 20% FOC arrows. I'd heard/read that too high a FOC would affect longer range accuracy. My nocks are threaded 8-32 tpi. A one inch piece of threaded rod that size weighs 25 gr. and when screwed into the back of my arrows changes the FOC to 15%. I shot several variations of this off of bags at 50 yds and could not tell any difference in group size, all about 3" for 5 shots. Naturally the poi changed each time, but not the group size.

Thanks Awshucks for saying that cause I forgot that them numbers in my post are ment for long bow arrows. I cant remember where but I think it was on a horton sponsored hunting show they talked about it for CB and it is supposed to be between 15-20% for CB arrows. Mine are always between 18-20% with standard horton arrows and 100 grain head. when I used to shoot the off brand that wal-mart sold I would have to put thin washers on the front to get it right.

I have a site that will tell you your foc somewhere, but the easy way is balance your arrow and broadhead/field point, mark it, measure 1/2 arrow length, mark it. Your foc is gonna be real close to 5% for every inch between the marks. I've read that some target guys use real high foc's, gotta check that out one of these days when it's under 100 degrees lol.
