Hay tree climber I am a hard and fast anti eat wild mushrooms. I take a lot of chances in life but don't want to go down by losing my liver. Read an article from the NW where a whole family ate poison mushrooms. They had many years expierance and several died in days a few got new livers and lived, what a mess. Isn't worth it to me. Look up mushroom poisoning on Google and you will find some pretty scary articles.

Morells are safe to eat, and easily identified. I don't think their are any other mushrooms that even look remotely like them. At least not around here.

But, to you question, I'm not sure if they are in florida. If their are, I would look in timber. That is where I find them up here. Good luck on finding some.
