Default Jerky

Do any of you make your own, and if so how??

I love Beef Jerky to death, but it costs almost $10 for HALF a POUND! I could eat halkf a pound in one sitting, with room for drink and crackers, and all of this before dinner!

Well, maybe I exagerate, but you get my point.

Let me know.

I have created a stellar Jerky recipe but I don't have it here. I used it several times on venison but have not yet used it on beef. It even makes an excellent steak!! I took some of the marinade and soaked a couple of steaks and fried them in lots of butter, now that was good!!
