Default Caning Pckles.

Hi Everyone I canned some pickles last night and I was wondering when I can open a jar and try them I am curious to see whether I like the what I made them or not.

It depends on the type of pickle you made. Some, you can eat right away while others you may have to wait a few months to allow the flavours to meld together. I have been making &quot;bread and butter&quot; pickles the last couple of weeks but I have to wait a month before I can open them.<img src=icon_smile_sad.gif border=0 align=middle>
Some pickles are well worth the wait.<img src=icon_smile_tongue.gif border=0 align=middle>

my wife makes sweet lime pickles,they are best if you wait a mo. or two,but we always eat the part of a jar that is always left over in a couple days.so it depends on the ones your making.
