Default Brunswick Stew Recipes?

I absolutely love Brunswick Stew, especially making it. I was wondering if anyone had any "secret recipes" they'd like to share. I have on that I like a lot but would like to try something new as well. Let me know!

we cook a big pot of this every year befor hunting season.we put it into bags and freeze.
take it out and warm with lots of toast.it makes a meal and only takes a few min when you get in from a long cold hunt.[8D][8D]

This is a very old recipe::::

Ingrediants:::
the hogs heads were cleaned and used as the binding for the stew.they add something to the stew that nothing else will.l(ike a jelleton)

1 can silver lable small garden peas.
3 lbs. of pork or a( hog head).
3 lbs. of pig ears.(the pig ears need to be cut into small cubes(very small)
2 lbs. beef stew.
1 can of tomatoes.
1 med. size bottle of ketsup.
2 small cans of tomatoe paste.
1 can whole corn.
3 small cans pork and beans.
2 med onions chopped fine.

cook all meat till tender, pork , pig ears , and beef.save the juices from meat. The pig ears will add a taste and texture that nothing else will.

mix all ingredients in a large pot. add enough juice to mix and cook.salt and pepper to taste.
cook at a simmer till everything is done ( onions are tender) , and meats mixes well with other ingreidents.

kevin1 ; winn/dixie Publix or the meat market in walmart they all have them.you have to look at them and if possible give them a smell.

if they look or feel any little bit slick , ask for some fresh ones.they move slowly and they leave them out to long sometimes.they are like any pork , you can tell if they are going bad.
