Default Bear Recipes?

Well, being that bear season is coming up on August 1st, and I'm feeling pretty confident this season, I was wdonering what, if any, recipes some of you may have for this type of meat? I've never taken a bear before so I've never had any experience with the meat. Any ideas are appreciated!

Just treat the meat as you would any other type, using it in all recipes. Just substitute the bear meat for the beef or whatever. You can pretty well get the same type of cuts as you would from beef ie; roasts, steaks, burger, etc.
To me it tastes like pork only the meat is darker and when the meat is smoked, it tastes like ham. Bear is one of my favourite wild meats and I might even prefer it over venison.

Make sure to cook it thoroughly! Trichinosis is still a possibility in bear meat.

My buddy (a butcher) made bacon out of my last one's side, and it was delicious!

I like the roasts, too.
