Default Crock Pot Turkey

I killed a few turkey this year. I fry up the breast. But have a tough time with the thighs and drumsticks. I was thinking crockpot might really do the trick. Anyone have a crockpot recipe for them.

BC...That's what I do with mine every time. I fry the breasts...and put the rest in the crock pot. I have 2 recipes...

First, put the meat in the crock pot. Season liberally. Then cover with all the onions you can fit, and some garlic, too. Add about 1/2 cup water. Cook for about 8 hrs on low. When finished, remove all the tendons and bone, and you have some tastey eatin.

Second is kind of the same, except with bar-b-q sauce. Just put the meat in, season, and add your favorite bar-b-q sauce and a little water. I always put some crushed red pepper and hot sauce in mine, because I like the extra spice. Once again...8hrs on low. Makes one hell of a sammich!

we take the legs and back , and the carcuss.put it in the crock pot with some onions and carrots.salt and pepper.after overnight we take the meat out.strain the liquid, chop the meat and use the liquid to cook some rice, add some onions, eggs and make dressing with the rice, bake for a while till done.

I do the same with it as mentioned above but, usually turn it over into soup or cassarole afterpicking tendons and bones.
