i need an old fashined double sided bread skillet.
has any one here ever seen the old fashioned double sided bread skillets that are half oval shapped with two adjacent handles? they look like an omelette skillet and can be flipped over in mid baking cycle to cook from the other side. they are usually used on top of the stove, but could possibly be used for camping. i am hoping to find a stainless steal one. or a new version of them. most everything i find now are the nonstick type pans for omelets. these will not withstand alot of use. nor i doubt be good for camping.
i have an old one but it now sticks and i was hoping to find a new version of the old ones as a gift for a freind. any info will be appreciated. i have just spent 2 hours on the net and still can not find what i need. thanks, annie. ps. if you know what i am talking about have you ever used them over an open fire for camping purposes?
