Default Yorkshire Pudding

Ok now this is not really a pudding but more like a thick dinner roll that you can pour gravy over and it is delish. Old English recipe from my family.

4 oz flour
1/4 ts salt
2 eggs
8 oz milk
1 oz crisco

1) preheat oven to 425
2) mix flour, salt, eggs and half the milk (beat for 5 min)
3) add remaining milk and beat lightly again
4) cover with a tea towl and let stand for a few min
5) In a muffin pan put a little crisco in each holder
6) put the muffin pan in the heated oven and heat till the crisco begins to smoke (or very hot)
9) remove pan from oven and immediatley pour batter into each holder. Remember it will rise so do not fill holder more than 1/2 full.
10) return to oven for 35 to 45 min or until brown enough for you
