Easy Beer Bread
If you're like me and enjoy homemade bread with things like stew here's a very easy and very good recipe.
Ingredients:
3 cups + 1 TBS self rising flour
3 TBS Sugar
3 TBS melted butter
1 Bottle or can of beer, room temp
Spray oil or shortening
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350
Mix 3 cups flour and sugar together in a mixing bowl.
Add beer and stir to combine.
Let rise 5 min.
While dough is rising, use oil or shortening to grease a loaf pan and flour the pan with the remaining TBS of flour.
Pour dough into loaf pan and pour melted butter on top.
Bake for 45 min or until a tester comes out clean.
Remove from oven and let it sit about 30 min before cutting.
That's it. Super easy and it comes out really good. For a twist you can add jalapeno pepper and shredded cheddar cheese if you wish.
