Default Coyote?

While we can hunt Coyote here, are they any good for actually eating?
Or just a taxidermy project?

Perhaps if I shoot some, I can cut up the meat, and start making some RAW food for my cats?

I have never heard of anyone eating coyote. I would imagine in days long-ago they were eatin out of necessity to keep a person from starving to death during rough times? Don't know for sure. I sure as Hell don't want to try it.

As far as cat food, if the cats like it then might as well serve it to them. Why not? Free cat food.

Just make sure you handle the meat carefully and keep your cats vaccinated. Coyote is a rabies vector species.
