Default BBQ Brown Trout

I thought I' d stoke up the webber and bbq some trout yesterday. Nothing fancy just a basic grillin. I took a pizza pan covered it in tin foil and sprayed it with pam. Then added the basics garlic salt and pepper and threw it on [:-]. About 15-20 mins later it was done. Worst tasting fish I ever had [X(]. The best way I could discribe it is to say that the fish tasted like chloralseptic (sp). I beleive the pam ruined my dinner [:@] and I was hungry lol. The pam went to the trash along with my dinner.

best way I have found is to not scale or skin the fish, lay on fine rack, sprinkle with cavuanahs seasoning, cook till flakey.if it sticks, the skin will stick to rack, but the meat will come off the skin.
it is great, give it a try.throw the pam back for the wife to use.[:-]

OK, I have to get my .02 in here. When I grill trout, I wrap them in tin foil and don' t put any kind of butter or non-stick spread in there. That way, if skin sticks to the foil it comes off nice and easy when you unwrap your dinner.

I feel bad for you that your trout wasn' t good, that is a shame. It should have been a wonderful meal. I' ve never heard of pam messing up taste like that before.

ya this was the first time I used the pizza pan and the pam. Usually I just season them and throw them on the hot grill. It' s a good thing I know where more of them brown trout live........................
