I got tired of replacing those FoodSaver machines and bought a Cabela's brand commercial vac sealer...well worth the extra money and much quicker too. I buy the pre cut 1 gallon bags and some of them have been reused 1/2 dz times.
As for putting up the burger...wrap 1# packages in Saran Wrap as tight as you can wrap them...then Vac seasl 2-3 of them in 1 bag..takes up alot less bags and space..when you open a vac bag just reseasl it or use all the meat.

Been using a food saver for at least a dozen years, Thing still works great. I was in a Habitat for Hummanity "Restore" couple years ago and saw a real fancy food saver with all the bells and whistles. The price looked like $10? I confirmed the price was $10. I looked around, clenched it in my arms on the way to register. Well Over $100 new - What a deal. Dry Vacin is the only way to go. Save some money and re-use the bags.
I love it!
