Default Looking for some instruction

With the current economy in the state that it is in, this year I am wanting to try and butcher my own deer when I get one; season hasn't started yet. Does anyone know of any good resources out there for a beginner you pretty much only knows how to field dress a deer. I'm sure this has been posted before but all I'm going off of is Youtube right now and need some more help. Thanks

I remember when Kentucky Afield did a show on processing your own deer, maybe you can find that video the host is Tim Farmer.

The very first time we butchered our own deer (many years ago) I bought a video on how-to. . I was able to follow step by step and also had the ability to stop or pause to make sure I was doing it correctly.

I would suggest trying to rent/purchase one. That way you can take your time and see exactly how the process goes.

Good Luck!
