Default Pheasant and Squirrel

Does anyone know a good way to cook some gray squirrel meat or some pheasant meat? If so, let me know. Thanks.

young: salt, pepper, garlic powder, lowyers seasoning. flour lightly fry in castiron skillet in oil till golden brown.

old: use same seasoning, lightly grease bottom of skillet, brown on both sides, remove and put into pressure cooker, till tender.put back into skillet and make brown gravey, serve with and over homemade biscuits.

Pheasant Breasts can be cooked like chicken breasts. The legs I grind up for Tacos I imagine you could do the same for Squirrel or make a stew. Use the search for reciepeis.

New to pheasant, however I like it on the grill.

We always boiled squirrel until tender, then rolled in flour and fried until crisp on the outside. Another good choice is to dress the squirrel out, then wrap in foil doused with Open Pit or your favorite barbeque and cook over campfire coals until tender. All of these are good.
