Default Cure or no cure needed?

I have a bottle of Jim Melton's jerky marinade and a Jerky Blaster I bought from Cabelas. The bottle says to marinate the ground meat for 24 hrs etc bla bla bla. But what about any cure? Does the marinade already have it in it? I plan on baking it in the oven since I'm not that proficient with my Little Chief. Any help
