Default RE: stupid question

You might have better luck with this question on the hogs & exotics forum. The best advice that I can give you is to get the carcass cool quickly and keep it as clean as possible when you do butcher. I know domestic hogs do not need to be aged so that is probably true of wild ones.

There are plenty of people on this forum who will help you cook the good meat that you puy in your freezer.

A Yahoo or Google search would probably pick up plenty of hits on "field dressing wild hogs instructions"
