Its excellent. I tried that 7-8 years ago and my wife liked it so much, we had it 3 nights in a row. I shoot 6-7 deer a year and we are usually out of deer by early spring. I could eat it all year long.

Questions..

1. Are they cooked on a grill?
2. Is the grill lid off or on?
3. how long do youcook them?

I've got some tenderloins..I;d liketo fix them like that.

I grill them on the bacon sides first to crisp up the bacon

I wrap the steaks completely in bacon strips end over end till covered in bacon, hold bacon together with toothpics inserted in end of steakshorizontally.

.. fully wrapped steaks (over the top and bottom)insure that you are getting that bacon flavor penetrating through the meat as you turn your steaks rather than just thebacon being wrapped around the sides.
