Default best way to cook rabbit and squrril

ok i had me shooting a aqurril with a bow and it got me thinking

any tips fo the best way to cook rabbit and squrril
should i stew it or panfry it

Cut it into pieces, remove the musk glands under the arms...Put in a pot of water and par boil for about 30 minutes, or until you can easily stick a fork into it...Batter and fry like chicken...You can eat this way or remove and make gravy with the drippings and eat....

how do i know what is the musk glands will i just see it ad know and is that on both rabbit and squirrel
