I have an idea. I was thinking of cutting some meat off the bones and taking to the butcher and have him slice it thin ( like Balogna). My idea was to use this as minute steaks for sandwiches.
Anyone else ever try this?
A buddy of mine and I just did that the other night. They were great. My friend bought a meat slicer and we cut them up and tossed them in the pan withsome cajin seasoning, garlic and salt. Then we toasted some rolls and put some cheese on top.
Take a roast or ham and put it in the freezer for about 4 hours then slice it your self with a very sharp knife. Ps. If by chance you leave it to long just let it thaw a bit. Partialy frozen slices very easily and proffesional looking.
