Default Pecan Pie

Had a piece of one Thursday at a resturant that I really loved.
They had crushed the pecans and sprinkled them on top.
Does anybody have a recipie they don't mind sharing?

Thanks

Good Luck. Capt Brad.

CAPT BRAD;I had to twist my wife's arm to get this.

Southern Pecan Pie:
Ingredients
1 cup white sugar
1 cup white karo syurp
3 whole eggs,slightly beaten
1 1/2 cups chopped pecans
1 teaspoon vinilla
1 pinch of salt
1 Tablespoon black label Jack Daniels
1 9" unbaked pie shell

mix all ingrediants, place into pie shell.
preheat oven to 350 degrees
bake for 50 to 55 min at 350,till top gets golden brown..

hope you like this as good as my hunting buddy's do.they cut them a peace first then they get there lunch, they don't want to get left out. It was real good. and so easy to make. It took longer to do the dishes than to mix everything up. We ate it yesterday for supper dessert. A little less than half left. I'll eat a piece for breakfast.
I did leave it in the oven a little long. I have a bunch of walnuts left from Christmas I'm gonna try it with next. Tell your wife I said thanks.

Good Luck. Capt Brad.
