Default RE: Any good Salmon Jerky recipes?

Slice partialy frozen fillet into 1/4" thick strips. Mix up brine consisting of 1 can frozen concentrate apple juice with 3 cans of water, 1 cup kosher salt, 1 cup brown sugar. Brine 24 hour in zip-loc bag. Lay it out to dry. And smoke at 220 deg until dry, plyable. I use apple wood. Good Eats.

Often woundered if it would help to have a pocket full of Salmon jerky while Bear hunting?
I'll try it if I ever get a tag.
