Default Deep Fryer question for someone

I want to deep fry chicken parts(leg, breast, thigh's)
Can I just prepare then and put them all in the basket?
I'm trying to save time so I'm thinking of putting in 8+ pieces at a time(my pot will do 20# birds)
How long to leave in?
Any good resipes?
I fry 5-6 turkeys a year but have never done Fried chicken.
Thank you

The problem with deep frying big batches, is it brings the temp down low and it hard to recover quickly, which makes thefood soggie. Putthe breast in a min or 2 after the thighs and legs since they don't take as longer to cook. gl

I am going to add something to the last post. do a total cook time of around 10 to 16 mins to make sure the chicken is done. I would get something to test the temp. starting at 10 mins then every min after that. you don't want you chicken uncooked or overcooked. I been cooking chicken for customers for 7+ years.
