Default Deep frying

How many here use a turkey fryer to deep fry fish, turkey, frys etc... We really like to deep fry a lot of different foods. Here is a great batter to deep fry with, its called Drakes batter. I dont know how many of yas like Long John Silvers but Drakes batter reminds me of Long John Silvers when you cook fish or chicken. Give it a try. Its good with turkey and hot dogs as well...

Just had a feed of Catfish and hushpuppies. I'll try Drakes next time.

Long John Silver's is just heavily seasoned tempura batter, you can find tempura mix at nearly any store. Never cared for that stuff personally, I prefer breaded seafood.

I use a fish fry seasoning called Andys Seafood Seasoning. It is a corn meal type and not very heavy. Works and tastes great.
