Default Stainless steel

The wife and I recieved a SS griddle do you season it like castiron? Any and all infor would be great. Thanx

I don't think you have to do anything to the SS gridles. The metal is not porous like it is on hte cast iron skillets.

The reason I ask is the first and only time we used it, everything stuck. Just wasn't to thrilled with the results. Thanks again

My brother sprays Pam on the grill before cooking and said it always works great to eliminate any sticking. I’ve never tried it but will try it this summer...

Food will also stick if you try to turn/flip before it's time.

lol I understand that guys,but this was excessive to me. Since there's no seasoning required maybe it should be pre heated? It's main purpose is for and outdoor cooking stove. You know the one's made by camp chef, or explorer dual burners. Thanks for the imput

I hope I'm understanding you right but,
I believe every grill or pan you cook on should be preheated, I've never heard of cooking without preheating anything, unless your boiling water.
