Default trout over fire

Im going camping tonight near a trout stream and thought I might try my luck cooking some over the fire. Any suggestions?

Take some olive oil.
Either marinate/baste for grilling
or for pan sear/fry.
Also, your favorite spices.

That's all I got.

My father always cooked in Foil. He would wash the fish, roll in flour-salt-pepper, add butter to foil and wrap. Only took a few min to cook and tasted good. Fish Must Be Fresh From The River. Jovan
