We usually dice potatoes up to about 1 inch squares, slice onions
up and put in a pot of water to cook when the potatoes are almost
done put the clams in. Cook for another 15 minutes or so and put
in evaporated milk and about a quarter stick of butter.( Some people
like to fry up some small pieces of salt pork and dump in instead of
butter. ) Can use fish fillets, or corn inplace of clams ie. corn chowder,
fish chowder( cream can be used instead of milk ) salt and
pepper to taste
