Fuel For Jon-E hand warmer????
Any of you guys still have one of the old Jon-E hand warmers that were silver and looked like a huge zippo lighter? This one has a hindged tab on the side it looks like you light it through. What can you use for fuel for them? I know lighter fluid won't work cause it has to stay warm in a little red pouch. I'd appreciate anyones knowledge of one of these little warmers. Sure will be nice to use up in the stand the way the weather is now.

I have one of those old hand warmers and I haven't used it in years but I believe I used lighter fluid in it. On real cold days you might try using Hot Hands. They work great, don't cost much, don't put off fumes and are probably a lot safer to use. Just my 2 cents worth.

WV: Thanks alot. I sure thought lighter fluid would have been to viotile to use in one of those little heaters but the more I read about them that's what is supposed to be in them. Hope I don't fry myself out of my tree lounge!!!... Have a great X-Mas and New Year!!!!! And thanks again!!!!

Those aren't so old. I buy them new, and the fuel, too. I can send you the fuel for 7.00 per 16 oz. can, shipping included. I can get you the handwarmers for 16.00, shipping included. E-mail me at [email protected].
