Default RE: Hunter's Specialties Rack Tracker game camera...

I was worried that this would happen with that unit, which is why I never considered it! First off, the camera is only a 1.3 megapixel camera and for the price of the unit, it should be more!

In my opinion, if you don't build a digital game camera, you are gonna have to spend more than $500 to get one that is good! I have messed around with the Trail Mac Digital and this unit has surpassed my expectations (my best-friends uncle bought it). I helped him set it up, and this thing takes awsome night shots, has great clarity, and is incredibly fast to snap a picture, not to mention that he has got over 600 pics on the camera and the batteries controling the sensor are still strong (never been replaced) and he uses rechargeables for the camera itself. I would not hesitate to recommend this unit to anybody! The only problem is the price. $574.99 is alot to pay for a unit, but like I said, this thing is very very easy on batteries and you never have to pay for film/development again!

There are also less know brands out there that really appeal to me. One is the Buckeye line of cameras. They are 4.1 megapixel units that use high quality Sony cameras! From my research, these look like top-notch units also, and the price is great at $450.00
