Default Exciting Practice Session

I was shooting down at a local conservation area archery range around noon today and while I was shooting, two yearlings walked out between the 20 and 30 yd. targets I was shooting at. I heard something walking through the woods and they just popped out. Too bad my broadheads were in my bow case across the parking lot. I just watched them while they stared at me and after about a minute thet trotted off. Pretty cool.

oooppppsss. That must have been a pretty cool experience. What would ever possess a deer to hang out in an archery range durring bow season is beyond me. I'm espically glad to hear you didn't arrow one with a field point. Next time you practice you might want to keep a fully loaded arrow in your quiver. You never know when it'll be one of the tall boney variety that steps out in front of you.
