Default HOYT XTEC

Was seriously thinking of getting an Hoyt XTEC, anyone have any advice, good or bad, about this bow. Your input would be helpful.

I shot the Xtec after I bought my BowTech Dually, I'd buy that bow in a minute it's smooth and easy to draw and just plain nice to handle.I'd buy it if I were you .I'm serious! if I hadn't already bought my BowTech I'd sure be thinking about the Xtec, it's a little pricey but all the top bow's are.Good luck and go buy it you'll love it ,very nice.

I got the xTec in May and love it. It is a great bow. I would make sure you shoot other bows before you buy on though. I shot bowtec and matthews as well. For me the xTec was the best fit and feel. Everyone is different. Good luck with whatever you decide.

Its a good shooting bow however i did not like how heavy the bow is. although it is very smooth and was accurate as well. shoot it and compare with others.

Thanks bowhunt for telling me what you don't like about it, that is more helpful than anything. My dad has a mathews and I really don't like the feel b/c it is so light and skinny, so maybe this bow will fit me well since it is a little more heavy and bulky. Thanks again everyone.

I bought the X-Tec in April. I traded it in after I shot the new Darton Typhoon. I liked the X-Tec & I am not bashing it. I think the X-Tec is very smooth & sweet shooting.
I just fell in Love with the Darton Typhoon. I guess the Darton Typhoon just fits me better? My shooting is more accurate & consistant with the typhoon than it was with the x-tec.
