Actually it is a shockwave 100 that just happens to be fully opened! It did the job though.

I was so excited to post this up that I forgot about writing the story...which is what we all love anyway right!

Well I was sitting in my favorite tree and I had gotten in early that afternoon cause I knew it would be good and I just wanted to enjoy the woods. About an hour before dark I caught this guy sneakin through the thick crap heading to a popular feeding area. I had not seen this deer before and nearly fell out of the tree when I saw him. I drew back and took a deep breath....grunted to get him to stop and sent a vortex mini-mag right through his heart. He ran 30 yds and fell over...I could see him from the stand! It was unbelievable.

Wilddiver! those are a couple real nice mount's you got there ,you obviously know someone well in order to get that mount done so quick.It's common knowledge here that it's an automatic 12month's .

Nice bucks, Just curious if you had the non typical scored, and if you did what did he gross? Still would be a trophy in my book if they were forked horns! CONGRATS!!!

Ok...the one on the left netted 118 3/8 and was at least 7 yrs old...he was on the decline and was busted up.

The NT scored 180 7/8 net...and 186 4/8 gross.

Yes the taxidermist I use is exceptionally well at getting my mounts back to me very quickly at no cost to quality.

Here is the other buck I took this year as well...scored 129 6/8 net...139 gross...I rattled him in...
