Default GA buck down

might have my second P.Y in as many years...[gonna be close]

basic nine with lots of stickers...

Shot this buck last saturday at 10AM didn't get on the stand till 8 because of the very bright moon...

He is a young deer but just not sure if I will get this land next year....and I have a few others that are as big or bigger on the farm..

3 for 3 with the new Martin Nitro this year...

lol dammit man I thought we agreed that was the one to let walk and hunt one of the others.

Nice buck, I like the stickers. Young but hard to pass.

From the time I saw him to the time I shot..about 20 sec...at the time it never dawned on me to pass... after the shot Did think about it, but it was a tad late...

If I knew for sure I was going to get this farm next year I would have had a different mindset.. I still have 3 very good 8s that will be studs next year..

I really need to call the land owner and plead my case for him leasing to me next year..

I hear ya. Ive regretted passing a lot more times than its paid off. Like they say a bird in the hand is better than two in the bush.

Looks like you have a good spot for now anyway.

Am I crazy or is that deer a 2 year old?

Deer generally don't get real big in this part of GA a 130" is good one and around 150# live is avg.

I have killed one that was 200#
