Default another score it

hope this is my opening day bow kill...slowly putting a plan together..

this is a middle GA buck probably 3.5 and around 180#

I am thinking high 140s pushing 150 and still has a little more growing to do..

Wow that looks like a very young stud. He is a great buck now but will be something really special later.

this my first year on this farm the only ones hunting it are my wife and I.

I am seriously thinking of letting him go one more year... I do have my eye on a big 8pt on the other side of the farm

here are the two running buddies with the one pictured above..

the other pic is the 8pt I am seriously thinking of hunting..

Tough call, I don't know what I would do.

A few years ago I let a 150 with kickers walk, regretted it for a year then killed him as a 170 with a 9 inch drop tine.

Unfortunately though I don't think I can count the times it didn't work.

this a fairly small farm I am worried about the rut and him wandering off and getting killed.. who really knows what I will do if he walks under my tree on sept 13th..lol

we also have to make sure we don't put too much pressure on the property, for the first week or so we will only hunt afternoons..

good guess but a little low I think did u use buckscore, trophyscore or just a guess?

The one in my avatar was 142 2/8 and the trail cam buck has better tine length and a slightly wider spread so I think he is easy mid 140s.. I have killed several bucks in the area in the 180# to 200# range he has a bigger body then you think..

Its so hard to judge deer from different regions.

I know it looks like he has an extra 6ish inches in stickers and probably an extra 2 inches on each brow VS the average deer with the same size frame. That stuff adds up quick.
