Took this this past Friday (October 26th). He was chasing a doe, grunting like mad, wind was blowing. He showed up on some cam pictures this past week.
All of his G2s and G3s are over 13 inches, I didn't score him but the Taxidermist said he is approximately 170 (gross).
Took him with my Excalibur Vortex, carbon express bolt, and 100-grain slick trick broadheads.

Hunting is awesome thing but I don’t think I can do that. Because animal killing kind a hard matter for me.

Someone was looking out for me today
I was diagnosed with Bell's Palsy one week ago and I thought my hunting was over for at least this year. I couldn't accept it though. Frustrated and desperate; I took my brother,5shot's, advice. He told me, since you can't see out of your peep, try shooting off one side of the string. I did and I was able to shoot accuratly out to 18 yrds. I got in the blind early this morning and took my camera and bow. Every deer that came in was at least 20-30 yrds out so I took pictures. I was going to pack it up when I heard a deer rush into a shooting lane in front of my blind; it was a nice doe.....ughhhh at 25yrds. Then.........errrrup, errrup. Grunts. I can't believe my good eye........ this buck was at 12 yrds. Draw and shoot. The rest is history. My wife who normaly frowns on my deer hunting, told me that she was proud of me. I love my family......

Shot this one in PA on Oct 23. Shooting Matthews Switchback. Did a rough score of it and it is around 145. Biggest buck I've seen in the woods let alone killed.

Heres my 2012 deer, actually my first doe all on public land. The buck came in hot trailing a doe and had seconds to decide on the shot. Couldnt be happier both deer piled up within sight of my stand!
