If you have hogs you will need to get it up off the ground.
I use a large metal trash can, 3 1in EMT (legs), a broadcast feeder, 6 4in lag screws, a small piece of plywood and a 2x4 stud.
Legs, use an emt bender and bend then 18inches from one end at about a 20 deg angle. The angle is not critical as long as they are all the same. If you don' t have a bender Home Depot should bend them for you when you buy them. I cut the legs a couple of feet below the bend and install coupling to make the legs removable. Drill 3/8 in hole a couple inches down on the leg and about 14 inches down.
Attaching legs. Cut the 2x4 into 3 4 inch pieces and 3 pieces a couple inches shorter than the radius of the can. Take these radius pieces and the plywood and nail them together like the spokes of a wheel. One spoke at 12 o' clock, one at 4 o' clock and one at 8 o' clock. A lag screw will go thru the top hole in the leg, thru the can and into the spoke. Another lag screw will go thru the bottom hole in the leg, thru the can and into the 2x4x4. Repeat for each leg.
Mount the feeder per manufactured directions.
I usually bungy cord the lid on.

Hay swamper how' s that 5 gal bucket with a stick in made ?
I' d Like to put out a store bought one but figured if I could make
a homemade one that it would last longer in the woods if someone
came across it.
Thought about changing around the way that game cam
works and making one. But that bucket one would stay
around alot longer...

i just bought and put out a new type moultrie feeder for 25$ out of bass pro . its a 5 gallon camo bucket with a small type varmint cage on the bottom and the hole where the corn comes out is blocked by a heavy rubber ball. i like the fact that theres no batteries needed. when the deer pushes against it it lets out a little corn. i was thinking of calling them to see about buying just the cage part so i can mount it to my own barrels and 30 gal garbage cans. it attaches easily to the can with 3 nuts and bolts. if they sell the cage seperatly i cant imagine costing more than 10-15$
