Default Hoyt Vtec vs Parker Phoenix 34?

I found both bow on craigslist and eBay. Both have decent equipment. Both are selling for under $250.

Does anyone have experience with these bow? Would either of them make a good starter bow for me?

The Hoyt is a 2005 and the Parker is 2006.

I have the 2005 Hoyt Vtec, and love it. For that price, you cant go wrong. When I bought mine about 3 years ago, it was still new in the box. I gave $400 for the bare bow.

Did they make the Vtec in 2008? If not, then this guy is lying about his bow. I can't find any info for a Vtec made in 2008.
