Default bad shot

went hunting last night had 3 does come in had my sites on one and she ducked and i hit this one a texas heart shot took it all night to die recovered it this am dont know if you all have ever had this happen but it sucks to see the deer have to suffer over night never imagined in a million years this would happen but i recovered the deer going to go back hunting this evening lots of new scrapes in the woods.

It unfortunately happens from time to time. At least you recovered the deer.

a Texas heart shot is when ya hit the heart through the azz. anyway, thk goodness ya recovered it.

Just happened to me the other day too. Hit her way too far back, but fortunately I clipped an artery and went 50 yards and piled up.

Two things, Balckhawk.
You recovered this deer, she did not go to waste.
Second you learned to make sure that your next deer should be clear of any other animals before you take a shot.
