Trying out the Eastman kit

Here is what its looking like after 4 hours cook time im going to let it go 2 more hours,my cook temp is 170 havent checked the meat temp yet.

This a new experiment for me I am trying 100% pure deer with no beef or pork fats and using no binders.I did however use 1 pound of ground deer fat how it will turn out is beyond me I have 15 pounds mixed up so this log is just a test.

Well it has a great taste but im definatly going to be adding some pork fat to the rest of the mix.

not falling apart but not the way it should be has cooked meat taste.
