Default whats wrong withme?

So year before last I decided all I want. To do is hunt with a bow. I killed 5 deer that year one with a bow the rest shotgun. The year before I took on deer with my bow. Last year I got nothing. This year I got a new bow and felt really confident cause I pactised a lot on my shooting. I go out every chance I get I hunt new spots soi don't spook the deer out of where I'm hunting. I still have yet to get a deer and its driving me crazy cause all my buddies go out once or twice and bring home huge deer. Granted they gun hunt but really 2 years running! Am I doing something wrong or is this just whsat happens when u give up gun hunting.I keep pushing my self to get out and hun but sometimes I feel like whasgs the point!

Its all patience and time out there. Sooner or later one will stroll by. Its by far no easy chore to arrow a good deer. Like I said dont get discouraged and use patience and the time will come. Just enjoy having the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors and look at a kill as a bonus.

I agree with solobowhunter, PATIENCE! I took 2 good deer year before last, but never had a chance last year! It's not always that your doing something wrong, sometimes the dang deer woods just kick your tail! Haha! Good luck with the rest of your season!

Bowhunters who do not have patience rarely make it in the bowhunting world. One thing that helps me with hunting is every time i think something like " i have been sitting for days and havent killed a deer" or "am i ever going to kill this monster" i simply just look around me and see things that are actually quiet amazing. Squirels gathering acorns for the winter, blue jays and magpies congregating for the migration, raccoons peeling off ears of corn from the stalks, and suddenly i forget about the whole killing thing.
