Default After the shot

hey guys. opening day bowseason was today and i went for the most of the day. i got lucky and saw a buck of a lifetime and drew back on him. He was about 30 yards out and i squeezed off and it hit him. he did a mule-like kick and took off. i saw the arrow sticking out of him but did not get a good look where he was hit. he stood there for about a minute and15 secs and i did not see him after that. i did not chase and let sit until morning but i was curious on where the shot could of been. would he done that if he were shot in the gut and or shoulder?
