Default Mock scrapes, To Early??

Is it to early to put mock scrapes out right now? And what will they do if you do put them out at this time on the year???

scrapes are used YEAR ROUND not just durring the Rut... a lot of hunters do not know this but it is true.... Scrapes are checked by bucks in every season... I made mock scrapes in July and they have been getting checked 2-3 times a week since I made them and now they are getting activity 4-5 times a week.... Never too early!

when do you usually have the bucks coming back to the scrapes? morning, night??

as it gets closer to season it is getting later/earlier... as in Closer to sunset and closer to first light... during the summer it was at all times of day... But now it is mostly during the evening and early morning... but I have had a few pics around mid day also lol.... I guess I really didn't answer your question lol... I just know that they are there and I am happy
