I attended a local banquet and FINALLY after several years of winning just minor things I get something worth my money and time.
I started off the night just after getting there texting the wife about how bad the weather and roads where and her night at work, she works out of state. She complains about the same and tells me to win something. 10 minutes later they call my number for the sponsor raffle and I win a 2 barrel camo, combo deer/turkey mossberg!!!!!!! I was like SWEET!!! Not that I needed another 12ga 3-1/2", but it was cool that I won something finallly!!!!
About an hour goes by and I bid on a few things I liked but got out for too much money, I get called again. Now it was the bow raffle and I win a Parker Pioneer XP!!!!! I was like, LOOK OUT, Lightning was gonna strike!!!!!!! Blind pig found 2 nuts!!!!! So I get my bow and put it out in my truck, no room to put it by table and it might walk off if left unattended. My brother wins some stuff, and wins on some bid things he wanted.
End of night and things are winding down and they have a few things left to raffle off and I willbe damned if I don't win another shotgun!!!!!!!!! I won a Mossberg Turkey with the handle loop and pistol grip with the AR style stock!!!!!!!!
So all in all, I won 2 Mossberg 3-1/2" shotguns and Parker bow. Not too shabby for such crappy weather!!!! Text the wife and she about craps!!! She askes me what I got for her and I told her, ME!!!! She said she wanted her money back, she still had the receipt or throw it back in the raffle!!!!!!
I more than likely will sell the 2 barrel gun set and trade the bow and my older Mathews for a new Mathews Reazon or Monster. Don't have the $$$ to buy one outright.
