Default Patrick Co. Va. and surrounding areas?

Hoping to get some feed back on the deer and turkey hunt in thuis area? Thanks for the help.

well you can goto the va dnr site to get hard figures.....not sure what kind of info youre looking for but plenty of deer and a ton of turkeys in patrick/franklin counties, plus you have the qdm area at fairystone with about 5000 acres of public hunting land.

primland is top of the line. if you are interested in an outfitter. if not fairystone is right there plus if your into urban archery you get to kill does til march 23rd all you got to do is knock on a few doors! good luck to you!

Just wondering deer population and the size of them? Sounds like turkey is good.

well in the qdm you can only take antlered buck with at least 4 points on one side, and its been in place for awhile so there should be some good bucks up there. I took a large bodied 5 pointer this year that dressed out probably about 175 lbs. When i was logging my buck in, another guy was having his measured for the big buck contest and i heard the store owner say 191 and he took that buck in franklin county i believe.
