My new years eve Buck
Its been a long tough season for me since oct 1st but it finally paid off in the end last evening the day before the last day of season buck. Was hunting out of my primos predator den watching a old apple orchard when this buck came in offering me a 23 yard shot last evening. I thought i hit him a little further back then i wanted so i left him go over night, got on his blood trail at daylight and found him about a 100 yrds from where i shot him, but the wolves found him first and ate most of his left hind quarter, pretty dishearting seeing that when i walked up to him. But anyway i can still salvage some meat from him. Happy new year!
