Late Rut

Is this coming weekend and thru Wed before second gun season in N. Illinois still a good chance for a buck. Are they still in rut, and until when?

i havent seen much movement since first season, and I usually have great luck between gun seasons. I think the primary rut is over and just the "second" rut is whats mainly left....but you will probably still see a few chasing.
