Default Big Wisconsin 8 Down!

Well gentlemen, I listened to pretty much everyone tell me that I would never top my 2009 163" Wisconsin buck. While this one won't score as well I'm sure, it is no doubt a mature deer and proves that lightning can strike twice!

The inside spread is just shy of 19". In the rush to get him registered and hung up, I didn't measure the brow tines or G-2s. I would guess the brows are at least 4" and the G-2s are 12" or so.

He walked in from behind me, down wind nonetheless (thanks scent-a-way) and I got him at about 15 yards. Complete pass through. Not a great blood trail, but managed to find him without too much trouble.

Makes me glad I passed up two basket-racked 8s earlier in the season!
