My friend was just showing his friend his new Quest Primal...he told him to pull it back and all then he left the room, then when i walk into the room he dry fires it...brand new bow.

my question is...is the bow ruined? i didnt look for cracks or anything.

I dry fired a buddies brand new high country iron mace 2 years ago. Broke the string. New string bow was good as new. But bow should be checked for cracks in limbs and risers. A dry fire is also hard on harnesses so maybe just replace string and harness should be good to go.
