Wounded Warrior gathering in IL Oct 28

A meet and greet to honor Army Sgt Joe Jenson will be held in Meredosia, IL on October 28. It will be held at the Approach Restaurant at about 7:30.

Pennsylvania resident Joe is hunting Brown County October 22-28, the result of collaberation between an area outfitter, lodge owner, the IL DNR, an area high school and private/corporate sponsors.

Joe was shot and paralyzed in Iraq in 2004. He continued to hunt in PA but has since suffered 3 strokes during rehab. Joe is accompanied by his brother/caretaker Jim.

All hunters are welcome to meet Joe and thank him for his service to our country.

Unfortunatly I will not be able to make it. However I would appreciate it if you could tell him Thank You and HOOAH! I am also a Vet of the Iraqi War, fortunatly I came back with everything I went over there with. Now I have a tatoo on my right forearm as a constant reminder of those who did not. Please tell him never give up the dream and stay strong.. ARMY STRONG!!! HOOAH BROTHER!
